If one of your opponents is going to buy one of the utilities you need offer them a price or tell them the rent is low. Then they might not buy it.

A good way to make your opponent go bankrupt is buying park place and boardwalk. so if your have a hotel on boardwalk or park place and they land on one they will have to pay  $1500-$2000!
